Complex trauma is the occurrence of multiple or prolonged traumatic experiences over the course of a lifetime most often during childhood; this can result in what is referred to as Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD).  Oftentimes, the traumatic events occur within the context of relationships that are most important to you and impact the way you have relationships and take care of yourself for the rest of your life.

In therapy you can increase self understanding and explore the experiences and relationships that impact the here-and-now.  In a safe and supportive space we can work together to experience your life in a different way, while honoring the path you have walked thus far. The work is challenging, but you can do it. You can give yourself the opportunity to respond to life with agency and authenticity by taking this step towards healing and growth.
